Every Caribbean denizen loves to fête, after all fêting is what Carnival is all about (apart from the two day parade)! However, do you plan just to fête or do you intend to get to the "Heart Of The Fête"? Don't have a clue? Well Slatta along with featured singer Shortpree know what it is all about and will tell you in song.
This is new music for Carriacou, Trinidad and Tobago and all Carnivals to come for the year 2014. I guess you have figured out he name of the song but I will be redundant and tell you that the song is entitled "Heart Of The Fête"!
This song is a production of Xpert Productions out of Carriacou and as is always the norm with his productions the music is clean and well produced. The singers, Slatta and Shortpree delivered very controlled (and that is a good thing) vocals with good diction and harmonious singing styles. This song has a nice groovy vibe and the music has color! When I say that the music has color I meant to say that musically the song grabs my attention (not a boring monotonous rhythm).
If you are a fan of music that has a party vibe/groove vibe that will surely invite you to want to hold on to someone special and dance (not wine up on) then this is the vibe you have been waiting on - embrace it! This is as song to dance to and with (someone special) in any party or fete - a really sweet vibe and a must have song in the "Heart Of The Fête"!
If you are a fan of these artists then you should call the radio stations and request the song. The production on this one is deserving and I have to say that this is not typical Carnival music - this is sweet Carnival feting music that will easily transition to the party scene after the carnival is over! Enjoy the music... enjoy this sweet vibe!
