Wildness Riddim | Precision Productions | Trinidad 2014

This is the latest Riddim to be released for Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival 2014. The music was produced by Precision Productions out of San Fernando Trinidad and features the following artists: Destra, Jaiga, Lyrical, Rupee, Shal Marshall. The first thing that I took note of is the fact that the 'big name' artists that usually showcase a riddim from Precision are missing on this one. There is no Machel Montano on this one and I don't think we have heard Bunji with Precision yet!

Sorry to disappoint the massive but this vibe is a groovy vibe and everyone will have to wait for the Power Soca vibes to drop when the new year ushers in the spirit of carnival 2014!

The music was expected to be released after midnight tonight but it appears that the Destra song was dropped early on YouTube ahead of the scheduled release time. Take a listen to the songs and get a feel for this Riddim done by Precision Productions. The riddim is not new (Crop Over earlier this year) however, you should expect quality music and excellent lyrics from the Precision camp.

Those of you who follow the Queen of Bacchanal will not be disappointed when you listen to Lady Destra sing all about the "Trailer Load" (ah bam bam). Destra is consistently good and sounds very much in control as she makes her mark on this riddim. The guys better drop some serious vibe because I am feeling Destra on this track - Destra voice, her vocals on this Riddim makes the music fell like it was created just for her!

Song number two is from Rupee; this song was released earlier this year for the Barbados Kadooment festival. However, I was advised that it was given a 'make over' for this re-release. You will have to source the original on YouTube to compare both tracks. You may notices some differences in the songs but Rupee's distinctive singing style seals the deal for "Nothing Sweeter" the 'Redux Version'!

This one is called "Soca Beast" and you can hear the distinctive voice of New York City based singer Lyrikal. This young artist has a message for all Carnival revelers and if you listen carefully you will understand all about the 'Soca Beast' inside of this talented singer.
