When you think of Mayaro I am certain your first thought is that of the beach then coconut trees and may all the chip chip you scooped up from the largest bay on the east coat of Trinidad. The Atlantic Ocean may wash the shores of Mayaro but a tsunami of music proportions is ready to wash the airways of Trinidad and Tobago with the advent of a group of musicians/singers known as "The Mayaro Band". This talented group has released their first Chutney music song entitled "The Dhoti Song" and we are pleased to present the track for your listening pleasure.
Presently the band has three songs that are featured on various radio stations in Trinidad and Tobago. One of the songs entitled "Something Sweet Dey" was released earlier this year and can be viewed on our "Featured Video" on the right hand side bar. The other song is a Christmas vibe entitled "Christmas Is For Love". As you can tell they are into all genres of music. We want to know more this band (send us some information/discography) and intend to bring you their future music releases. Enjoy the 'Vibez' of 'Mayaro The Band'!

"The Dhoti Song" is Mayaro The Band's introduction into the Chutney Soca Arena. This song brings feelings of happiness and fun when one hears it for the first time; so much so that it can be put on 'repeat' and the fun never gets dull!
