Take Me Home | Tishon | Trinidad & Tobago 2014

Please 'take me home'! Wishful thinking most of the time but then again if we never dream then we simply don't give ourselves 'that chance' - keep on dreaming young lover! The song is entitled "Take Me Home" and the name of this relatively untested singer is "Tishon".  This is your opportunity to critique this upcoming talent. I don't know the artiste but I can, just like you can,  give an opinion about this song. So let get it out and leave the rest to the listening public.
This artiste is multi talented. He wrote, performed and produced the the song. The song takes elements from Trinidad's pool of musical vibes... Indian and African elements and pulls in all into the Groovy Soca arena.

Tishon has potential and his song is a testament to this multi talented artist. This song bodes well for future endeavors. It is interesting how he introduces the music and ends it the same way. I think the drumming worked for the introduction but it did not feel the same for the end. The vocals, music and drumming had a disconnect at the end. Maybe that was intentional but it did not 'feel right' in the end.

Give the artist credit - he did good. This is the first time that I heard music from Tishon and it appears that he has the talent to be on the scene consistently. Nice vibe, I like it!

Please don't forget to add to the conversation - we want to get your opinion! Is this a keeper or do you want to toss it?
