Fava | Ragga | Trinidad & Tobago 2014

This is one of the better Groovy Soca track released for Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival 2014. This sweet sounding 'myoozikal vibe' is entitled "Fava" and is sung by the very talented artist known as Ian "Ragga" Joseph - just call him "Ragga"! This very engaging song is a production of ADIMusic and was mixed and mastered by DJFuture of Ahtik Studios in NYC.

As I mentioned in my opening remarks this is one of the better music releases in the Groovy Soca segment released to date. There are so many songs already released and a handful of new artists on the scene but this one stand out in this crowded field of aspiring artists with a handful having the potential to make a lasting impression on the listening public. This one surely has the potential and with the right promotion should be on rotation on the radio stations that have a meaningful presence in Trinidad and Tobago.

Take a listen to the song and get a feel for the artiste and after the first play listen again but this time pay attention to the lyrics and not only the musical vibe - you will be pleasantly surprised. After your second listen you will have a better appreciation for this artist and keep in mind that he also wrote the lyrics for the song that he nailed with his vocal performance.
