The song has the Carnival theme to it and the singer does an excellent job with his vocal delivery but this vibe goes beyond the Carnival vibe. This song should do well in the club scene. I can see this song surviving the hectic Carnival season and still get airplay after most of the stations institute their dumb and now infamous "Soca switch rule".
Regardless on how things play out this song is a keeper. I love the vibe but this is not a typical Carnival song. Don't expect to hear this one played on the road for Carnival. However, look for the song's rebirth after the Carnival season is long gone. Nice song... sweet musical vibe!
