Everyone is talking about the latest release by Destra Garcia titled "Just A Little Bit" and rightly so! Destra's song is already rocking the air waves. The track was produced by GBM Studios and so too was a Labor Day release sung by Lyrikal. I must admit that I am a fan of this new song by Destra but I am also a fan for the song done by Lyrikal. It was back on August 07, 2013 for NYC Summer festival, better known as "Labor Day Carnival", that I featured a song titled "Conquer Meh". This song was sung by the very popular New York based singer Lyrikal and he sang all about "When D Liquor (Conquer Meh)"! Well you may ask what is the big deal? Well both songs are on the same riddim produced by GBM Productions. Both songs are posted here for your listening pleasure and as a talking piece - pick your "chune" of choice!
You know how it goes, simply put say "Oh Chune Boi" for the song you prefer or simply give your approval to both songs. I am sure that almost everyone is aware of Destra's release judging from the response I am seeing on this site. However, "Conquer Meh" already has 46,675 views on Julianpromos! Lady Destra with the current pace she is on will catch up quickly but Lyrikal is ahead by a good margin. Let's see where these songs end up after the carnival is over.
Kudos to both singers and to GBM for not drowning the riddim with half a dozen artists. These two songs both ride the same riddim but do not sound the same at all. Don't you just love it when the producer does such a fantastic job? Both songs are good and you have the opportunity to take them even further and make them monster hits for Carnival 2014. Just enjoy the 'vibez'!
