Bare Wine feat. Swappi | Jus Now | 2014

It was back in December 2012 when I posted the original track by Swappi and London Future. I had a good feeling about the song but I don't think it did as well as expected. This time around Jus Now (Lazerbeam & Interface) have added their vibe to the track and it feels even better! I placed the link to the original post @ Barewine/Swappi 4D for your review (see link below). Here is a summary of how I felt about the track last year.
"Swappi Vibe! He has a following and they love his music. It is a very different vibe devised by London Future, with Swappi mashing up the lyrics with his 'in control vocal style, surely seem to know what they wanted to do with this one. The lyrics fall in place for the more youthful generation of music lovers. Crazy vibes/Swappitacular!"  Bare Wine | Swappi 4D | Trinidad Carnival 2013

Gutterfunk/Jus Now Press Release:
"Jus Now are back on Gutterfunk with their second release. After creating a tropical typhoon with their debut One Time EP, including the massive ‘Tun Up’ featuring Bunji Garlin - recently described by Sir David Rodigan as a Deep Forward. “In dances in Jamaica a deep forward comes from the back of the lawn, not the hype kids at the front, the back of the lawn. That’s the Deep Forward!” – his words, not ours.’.

Jus Now are taking it back to the road, with Bare Wine & Vodou Riddim. This one is for carnival girls dropping their batties down to the floor, so wave your flag and get ready to wine

‘'Wining is a form of dance that involves gyration of hips and can be slow or fast but must always be sexy. It is performed to mainly West Indian music like reggae, calypso and Soca.' (Urban Dictionary)

Trinidad's future boy of Soca, Swappi asks the question 'What you mean that you can't wine?!' and proceeds to instruct listeners to 'drop your batty to the ground then pick it up' with no hesitation. This tune is an ode to pure unadulterated wining.

Vodou Riddim is a sacrificial offering to the Gods of Bass, channelling the power of the mighty 808 and paying respects to the patrons of different phenomena. Out on Gutterfunk Records on 4th November 2013

Vocals sampled and adapted from the original track: Swappi. "Bare Wine" produced by London Future."
