Let me state this here for clarification; in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines this style of Soca is called Ragga Soca. However, in Trinidad and Tobago we call this style Groovy Soca. Now, since it was produced by Trinidadian "Ma$tamind", I will used the term Groovy Soca for this blog post.
This song has a really smooth pace that we like to call 'groovy' in Trinidad and Tobago. The singer's vibe on this track is excellent. He simply went with the flow of the music with the end result being a track that anyone can groove to and with someone special in any party or fete. This is an excellent production!
"Wine Of Your Life" is receiving much adulation on islandmix where much of the hype for the song is 'percolating'. I am not aware of the airplay the song is receiving on the island of Saint Vincent to date. I will have to tune in to the online radio stations to get a feel for the vibe on the island and to really check if the stations have switched over to playing Soca music at this time.
