This a really sweet groovy track for SVG Carnival 2013. The name of the song is "The Way You Rock" and the name of the singer is Gideon James. This song is not the typical Soca track that you would hear for and during the Carnival season. The singer's voice is smooth and soothing at the same time.
This song should have a lasting shelf life. This may not be the hard style that is typical for Carnival fetes but is should fit into a house party with ease. This is the type of song that can be played and enjoyed year round. I like the vibe that this song brings to the festival.
Take a listen to the song and come to your own conclusions. However, you would be hard pressed to find fault with the song. The music is simple but the singer's vocals makes up for any complaints some may have about the music. This is a good one... enjoy it!
