Hammer & Conchs | Skarpyon | Vincy Mas 2013

Now listen to this song and enjoy the music but then take in the lyrics and come to terms with the double entendre used by the artist to tell his story. This is one song that simply put, cause me to smile.  I smiled and grooved to the music... this is absolutely my favorite song coming out of Saint Vincent for Vincy Mas 2013.

Skarpyon is is cooking up a lot of spicy Conch that should lead to a lot of conversation with the guys on the block. I mean he hit the thing with the hammer but the Conch simply won't break. Well if your senses come into play with this one you will realize that there was a lot of thought that went into the composition of this song.  The lyrics are witty and the double entendre is on spot. I simply love this track not because of the ticklish lyrics but because the vocal performance in very good and the vibe produced by Kamall Archibald is on spot! I simply love the vibe coming from the artist on this one.

This is a song that reminds me of music from 'back in the day' but with a modern spin. The music is infectious and the artist rides the riddim with such ease that is the mark of someone who is confident with ability to deliver the story with such ease that he simply ropes you into the story line. What else is left but for you to simply get into the grove with the artist and simply have fun on the dance floor with that special someone! This is a wicked one... enjoy the vibes!

Now if you love the song as much as I do then please let the artist know how you feel by going on his Facebook page and leaving your remarks or simply add your remarks to this posting by using the comment feature of this posting (top right hand corner).
