Samantha was born in St. Lucia and releases her music for both the UK and Lucian Carnivals. As Samantha Combie she is a resident of the UK but as Soca Princess she is an islander at heart and has kept her root culture intact. She flies the Lucian flag and has kept her island pride and musical styles rooted in her homeland.
