Just about everyone who has an interest in Trinidad and Tobago is aware that Anya Ayoung-Chee won the ninth season of Project Runway in 2011. However, how many of you out there (her adoring fans) are aware that the music that the models strutted to on stage was produced by the very talented LAZA Beam? I made this piece for my friend Anya Ayoung-Chee, for her line "Tobago Love." The line accompanied her final showing for season 9 of Project Runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC, which eventually cemented her place as the winner of the show. Inspired by Anya and her awesome creativity and drive.
