"Born on the tropical island of Carriacou, the sister isle of Grenada (the “Isle Of Spice”), Matthew Thomas (Mr. Gold’N) is focused on building a name for himself, which in times he hopes to be among the greats. This talented young artist & songwriter encapsulate Reggae, Soca, R&B & Dancehall, being versatile, and always ready to try new sounds. In this early stage of his career, his goal is to put out as much positive songs possible concerning issues that we all face and know about, in the most innovative way he can.
After linking with producers, Mr. Expert (Jason James) & John James from “Xpert Studio” in 2011 Gold’Ns journey as an artist began. Gold’N has been featured on Xpert Studio’s one drop riddims “Broken Mirror Riddim” & "Random Thoughts Riddim' with songs that received great feedback. In 2013 Mr. Gold'N participated in the Carriacou's Groovy Monarch Competition in which he placed 4th with song called "Carnival Feeling" also produced by Xpert Productions. Keeping a focused mind, he continues to pursue his goal on his musical journey."
