This is a remix done by New York based DJ Sound Lion - the one and only TriniLion. We are not getting caught up in all the hoopla taking place in Trinidad - hell no! There are conversations taking place on the Island about 'toning down' the Soca because it is Easter. Yes, the same conversations that caused Calypso music to go silent 'back in the day' after Carnival was over and Ash Wednesday dawned. 

I believe in the separation of the Church and Culture and having said that, let me say this, I don't believe that any music should be silenced because of a religious holiday. Those who want to observe any religious holiday have the right to do that and those who want to listen to Soca music should spread their wings and fly. 

I believe in freedom of choice and today I choose to feature a mix done by TriniLion aka Sound Lion. This is where I turn up the volume and let the Soca Music Play! Enjoy the mix people!
