This is a song that has found favor with me; there is something about the delivery of Shal Marshall for this track that I like. One can say it has the right vibe for feting. This song, in my opinion, has just he right pace and Shal delivers with his vocals. The name of this offering is called 'Leader Of The Army' and Shal has taken it upon himself to be the leader for this new Riddim called the 'The No Rules Riddim'.
'Leader Of The Army' or L.O.T.A for short has already garnered over three hundred and forty plays on islandmix.com. That is not bad for a newly released song when one takes into consideration that we have abut four hundred new song already released for Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival 2013. This song is good but may not be able to get close to a song like Differentology that is now tearing up Trinidad and Tobago.
Shal is a popular personality in Trinidad and has his own radio show but that alone may not be enough to propel this song to higher heights. It is a good song and should do well in parties across the land. Take a listen and get a feel of this new groovy track from Shal Marshall.
