This is new music from Bunji Garlin and Precision Productions. One thing I immediately noticed from the Production notes was the following: "Sampled and Adapted from Lord Panama's 'Fire Down Below' ". That should avoid any follow up posts on islandmix regarding the autenticity of the music. Please note that the song "Fire Down Below" was done by Lord Panaman (lead singer) and the Stickers (band).
You know the saying, Everything is a Remix", well sometimes it is and when it is done one hopes that the production team gives credit to the original work. In this case one can say, without reservation, the following: Quod Erat Demonstrandum!
Now regarding the production and actual 'sound/vibe' of the track - here is what I think: Something is wrong! I initially thought is sounded muddled but that is a bit too strong of a statement to make at this time. I listened to the song again and, to be honest, I get the sense that two music tracks are playing at the same time... it just does not feel/sound right! I think that the original pace of the song (Lord Panama and the Stickers) is ideal but the fast-paced version done by Bunji and Precision does not sound finished like the original track.

From the Production Team:
"Timeless. A word used to describe the enigmatic appeal of a classic song, and also a very special kind of woman.
In this latest release Precision Productions encapsulates this surreal essence in song with Bunji Garlin, whose witty lyrics are tunefully laced with the team's youthful melodious blends, giving us a groovy dance tune, which manages to transcend the ages.
"Good Oye", samples Lord Panama's "Fire Down Below", which accounts for the distinct retro sway embedded in the harmonic modern style.
The track instantly engages the audience and proves that when it comes to such giants in the Soca game, you never know what scrumptious surprises are awaiting you around any given musical corner."
