My good friend Gail, via Paramin/New Jersey/Jamaica, sent be these four tracks for posting. She told me that it is time for some good Trini Christmas music and all that I am doing is posting Soca for Carnival 2013. Well here are the songs sent to me from Gail (I am not responsible for copyrights/that is the responsibility of Gail and her accomplice The C.E.O. aka "CJ"). Just like Caesar, I was my hands of all responsibilities regarding these songs.
Now aside from my kidding here, I have to say that the music, this Ginger Beer Riddim, is true Festive Trini music. Kendell Alexander did a wonderful job recreating the festive mood with the rhythms on these songs. Now you decide, is this Riddim a traditional Parang rhythm, Parang Soca or just some fun loving Trinidadians celebrating the culture of their homeland.
