Different Strokes | Eddie Charles | Trinidad Christmas 2012

Different Strokes is the name of this Christmas offering from Eddie Charles. Now this one has nothing to do with Arnold, Willis or Mr. Drummond but has everything to do with the festive Christmas holiday season that is upon us. Christmas time in Trinidad and Tobago is a time to visit family and friends; now we are talking about Trini hospitality at its very best. This is a time when traditional food and drinks (all kinds) are available for consumption - sometimes too much alcohol is consumed!

Eddie has his drinks organized for the visitors who come to his home. In this case, 'Different Strokes', he simply has certain drinks for family, friends and acquaintances. However, in the end, the outcome is the same...they leaving tight, tight, tight (for those who don't know - tight as in inebriated/drunk).

One very interesting fact to take note of for this song is the fact that Shawn "Ma$termind" Noel is the musical genius behind the music for this track. As a matter of fact he played every instrument that you hear for this one - yes he is a very talented individual and excels with this production.

If  you are looking for some festive music then this one will 'hit the spot' and satisfy your craving for Trinidad Christmas music. This is not traditional Parang music; it is Parang music with Calypso style vocals. As a result I have placed this one under the label of 'Trini Christmas music' and not Parang music. Enjoy it all the same.
