This song is a production out of the UK with the vibes coming from expatriate Trinidadians living in the United Kingdom. Debra "Pan Diva" is of Trinidadian decent who is the musical director of the Cambridge University Steel Orchestra and the All female Ladies orchestra. Trials of a Pan Woman deals with the plight of women in a male dominated pan fraternity. This song is a throw back from a 'time gone by' but a song that deserves mention. It was also one of the songs that became part of the Calypso for Pan for Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival 2012 and is featured on Panorama Songs on the When Steel Talks website.
