No Chutney Champion for Champz in Concert on 02.19.2010?

"THE annual Champs In Concert show will be replaced by an event called Champz of Steel+Plus, which will be held at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, from 8 p.m. tomorrow.
Describing the event as ’a euphoric experience of sight and sound featuring the most exciting, exhilarating, versatile instrument of the 21st century’, producer Ian Wiltshire said yesterday that ’there will be the best of steel, mas and soca music from Carnival 2010.
Heading the cast of performers will be Carnival 2010 steelband champions PCS Silver Stars, Steel Xplosion, Arima Golden Symphony, LH Pan Groove and the Junior Panorama winners, St Augustine Secondary Steel Orchestra.
Added attractions include George Bailey Band of the Year (Large) winner Brian Mac Farlane’s Resurrection-The Mas, calypso Monarch Kurt Allen, Road March champion JW & Blaze, Goovy Soca monarch Shurwayne Winchester and extempo monarch Gypsy in as war with the man he dethroned this year, Lingo. The three hour production will bring down the curtain on Carnival 2010."

Did you notice that one element of Carnival is missing here? What about the Chutney Monarch? Isn't the Chutney competition a part of the Carnival celebration and shouldn't Ravi B  perform at this show? I just don't understand how things are done in Trinidad.  So much for inclusion...
