The Panyard was buzzing with excitement as the Desperadoes readied themselves to perform for the judges for this preliminary round of competition. This band is undeniably one of Port of Spain's most renowned bands, and the fans anticipated nothing less than an exceptional performance. The baton, in the hand of their musical arranger, Clive "Zanda" Alexander, was ready to deliver a magical performance and move on to the next round of competition.

The Desperadoes made their presence evident from the first note. Zanda's enchanting arrangement revitalized Kes' beloved tune, immersing the audience in a nostalgic and refreshing musical experience. "Cocoa Tea," with its clever double entendre and infectious rhythm, was the perfect canvas for Zanda's masterful orchestration.

The fans, ever loyal and enthusiastic, were on their feet, dancing and singing along to the familiar lyrics. The energy in the air was palpable as the Desperadoes delivered one mesmerizing musical passage after another. Zanda's arrangement showcased the full range of the band's talents, weaving intricate harmonies and dynamic rhythms into a tapestry of sound that was both captivating and exhilarating.

The fans were pleased; the players, still excited, were thinking of the next round of competition, but did the judges feel the same?  Stay tuned for more updates on the Panorama 2025 competition and the incredible performances from all the participating bands.
