We had to wait for Pan Trinbago to post this to appreciate its sweetness. We were unable to share a recording of the performance today due to poor Internet bandwidth. We must admit, this performance was truly enjoyable. There was something so sweet about this rendition, and whether or not the judges grade this performance excellently enough to make it to the next round of competition, we consider this a mesmerizing evening with the West Side Symphony Steel Orchestra. Indeed, it was a triumph with DeFosto's "We Come Out To Play."
Arranger Leandro Noray masterfully directed the orchestra to bring DeFosto's piece to life in a magical performance. The steelpans sang in perfect harmony, producing a symphony of sweet, melodious sounds that captivated the audience from start to finish.
Leandro Noray's arrangement was truly exceptional. Leandro Noray purposefully calculated every note to deliver a performance that balanced speed and emotion, maintaining the rhythmic essence of the music while allowing the soulful expression of the players to shine through. They poured countless hours of practice and dedication into perfecting their craft, as evidenced by the precision and passion in their rendition.
We truly enjoyed their performance and eagerly anticipate their progression to the next round of the competition. We are confident that we will closely monitor West Side Symphony's journey in this competition, as they have set a high standard.
Congratulations to the entire orchestra and especially to Leandro Noray for his exceptional arrangement. We wish West Side Symphony Steel Orchestra the best of luck and continued success. May they continue to enchant and inspire with their performances.
