Today we feature the preliminary competition performance of the Road Block Steel Orchestra for Pan Trinbago's Small Conventional Bands competition. The band played, and the fans were thrilled and excited after the band performed. The song of choice was "Soca Train," composed and sung by Maximus Dan.
Dejean Cain, renowned for his innovative approach to steelpan music, masterfully crafted the arrangement for the performance. Under the guidance of drillmaster Martin Cain, the band executed the arrangement flawlessly.
Those in attendance responded enthusiastically to the band's exciting performance. The energy and enthusiasm from the crowd were a reflection of the players dancing in celebration of the hard work they put in to deliver such an exciting performance.
As the competition progresses, we wish the Road Block Steel Orchestra the best of luck in their journey to the next round. Their passion and commitment to their craft are truly inspiring, and we can't wait to see what they will bring to the stage next.
