Terri Lyons Repeats as Caribbean Calypso Queen | Montserrat Carnival 2023

Terri Lyons, daughter of Soca Royalty Super Blue and sister of Fay-Ann Lyons Alvarez, has once again emerged victorious in the Queen of Queens Caribbean Regional Female Calypso competition held on December 30, 2023, at Carnival City, Little Bay in Montserrat.

She won the competition with 820 points, beating out fellow Trinidadian Tiny (Kerine Williams), who scored 802 points, and Chrystal Cummins-Beckles (Barbados), who scored 801 points.

This is not the first time Terri Lyons has won the competition. She was also crowned the Queen of Queens Regional Female Calypso in 2022. In addition to these accolades, and for those playing catch-up, she was the Calypso Queen of Trinidad and Tobago in 2020.

We, at Sokah2Soca, fell in love with Terri's talent when she sang "Smile" with Ataklan. She is this blogger's favorite female artist in the Caribbean region. She is a boss at Calypso and delivers excellent Soca renditions.

We congratulate Miss Terri Lyons as a repeat Caribbean Calypso Queen. Terri’s victory is a testament to her exceptional talent and hard work. Congratulations to her on this remarkable achievement!
