Today we take you back in time to 2019 to feature a song that did not receive much attention in Trinidad and Tobago. Our opinion is that YouTube attention was not what was expected for a song that should have received more attention. That song is entitled, "Tek Jam" and for the uninitiated, it simply means, "Take Jam". In the Caribbean, people like to "jam up on you" (body to body dancing) at carnival fetes and on the road for carnival celebrations.
Tek Jam was written, produced, mixed and mastered and vocalized by "Jimps". We like the song and believe that the vibe and message will resonate with you, the avid Soca music listener. So, who is Jimps? Our opinion is that the music is different, but the message is pure and all about carnival and feting during the festive season. We think you will appreciate this song and what was old is now in style again.... so, "Tek Jam"!
