Let's do some housekeeping regarding the Bouyon Soca subgenre. What is Bouyon Soca? Simply put, it is Bouy plus Soca music. If you want to get into the mud for a better explanation, here it is... Bouyon music from Dominica was fused with Trinidad's Soca to create this subgenre. Now you may have heard of "Jump Up Soca" being referenced when people discuss Bouyon Soca. They are the same 90's Bouyon music blended with Soca to produce some really fast paced sweet music. Now that we have that out of the way we can boomerang into the mix presented in today's post.
