As we await our first mix from DJ Aaron 868, we decided to dig into some of his mixes presented on WACK Radio 90.1 FM. We decided to post them here for your listening pleasure. Of course, this and all of DJ Aaron 868's mixes can be listened to on his SoundCloud page. We hope our presentation of his mixes adds to his notoriety and creates another source to hear some really sweet music out of Trinidad and Tobago. We don't want you to forget the music that once dominated the scene not too long ago. Today, we present the Baron's music. The Baron, whose real name is Timothy Watkins, hails from Bamboo Village, La Romain in Southern Trinidad. He is fondly known as the "Sweet Soca Man" and is unquestionably the sweetest voice in the business to this day. DJ Aaron has compiled a list of songs you will want to hear over and over again. Baron's career spans 1971 to today. He is beloved and if the younger generation listens to his music they would realize that all of his music is made for dancing and sharing a good time with friends and family. Even if you don't consider yourself a dancer, you will be dancing to his music for sure. Enjoy DJ Aaron's talent and celebrate the Baron's musical style.
