There was nothing small about the big sound made by Uptown Fascinators out of sister isle Tobago. Last night, playing Colin Lucas's Dollar Wine, island pride was rewarded with first place in the National Small Conventional Bands Finals. Yes, Uptown Fascinators came to the big yard, played sweet pan music arranged by Ojay Richards, and conquered the hearts and minds of the big island to win it all.
Sokah2Soca extends congratulation to the defending champions of the 'Small Conventional Steelbands' for the competition year 2023 who continue to dominate this category with another win.
