Terri Lyons, my favorite female vocalist for Soca and Calypso, rides the riddim with ease. Today, we present "Can You Feel It" from the "World On Fire" album produced by Dj Private Ryan. It looks like Battalion Music is marking out territory as one of the best music production companies out of Trinidad & Tobago, the music just keeps getting better.This song has a really nice vibe but you won't know that if you listen to the song on a pair of cheap computer speakers. Here is what to do, put on your headphones (I use Bose) and listen to the song using your cellphone, if you do that, then you won't be one of the people who gave this song the thumbs down on YouTube. Trust me, you will fall in love with this vibe. "Can You Feel It" just keeps taking you higher and higher, there is no lull in the music, just niceness from the start to the end!
The song celebrates life and Soca music, music that makes living and enjoying life a little easier, can you feel it? Just pay attention to the lyrics as you groove to the vibe. If that is Ryan lending the haunting male vocals then kudos to him for a sweet musical production and checkmark vocals.
