Soca singers can deliver 'Love Soca Ballads'! Mean It by Preedy.
Soca has a reputation for 'bump and grind' styled music, as well as 'wave yuh rags and flags' heart-pumping vibes. Power Soca will have you sweating while Groovy Soca will slow down the pace, encourage that slow wine, and bring out the best in you. So what about Soca artists doing ballads? Are there any out there? Well, a few years ago Preedy gave us "Say Yes", a beautiful song indeed, but did he follow up or simply return to his Groovy Soca roots? Preedy went on to show his versatility by continuing to deliver sweet Soca along with slower ballads for our listening pleasure. Today, we turn back the clock to reminisce and fall in love all over again. Simply put, the reason for this post is to deliver another wonderful song Preedy gave to us just over a year ago. In 2020, Preedy released a really beautiful ballad entitled, 'Mean It'. This is a song that needs to be revisited. So, If you are in a loving mood tonight this is the song you should be listening to.
