Patrice Roberts is undoubtedly the number one performing female vocalist in the Soca music industry without a doubt! She has paid her dues and today delivers excellent music for her fans across the Globe. Patrice is a Trinidadian who started her musical career at the age of nine performing at the Sangre Grande Junior Calypso Monarch competition; she won, the year was 1995. Patrice continued on her Calypso journey and, in 2001 won the National Library Calypso Monarch and National Calypso Monarch. She also reigned supreme as National Schools Soca Monarch in 2001 (Shadow was the ISM Soca Monarch with Stranger that year).
Patrice went on to perform alongside Machel Montano for a while after which she moved on to develop her career as a premier Soca artist. She continues to work alongside many artists with much success. She eventually won the 2006 Road March Competition singing alongside Machel Montano, the song was "Band of The Year".
