Take Jab | Brother B | Grenada 2019

It is a good thing that this song was created because of the misguided thinking of one person. That person does not speak for or on behalf of the majority of the people in Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidad and Tobago owes much to Grenada for its Carnival culture and some of the great Calypsonians who cleared the path for our current crop of artistes. We are blessed to have been given so much from the Caribbean basin. We are better for it!

So when I heard this song I smiled and said to myself... well done Brother B... touché! Look, a little picong does not cause family to become enemies, after all, we are famalay! Now let's put all the nonsense aside and understand that the success of the other artistes in Trinidad and Tobago only makes our carnival product better and it will continue to be the one destination that is a must experience. Enjoy the song and smile with us, celebrate with the Grenadians and like the rest of us thirst for another carnival to 'come again'.

From the artiste (Brother B):
Now as we celebrate it is definitely the right time to address the critics that have tried to make it difficult for us along the way. We have proven to be resilient!!!
We were still victorious!

To all the critics who think that our jab culture , music and what we stand for is nothing and is nowhere, this is my response. Take Jab! Lol

This is my honest opinion as we stand as one people and one nation being very much patriotic despite the obstacles.

In your excitement ,this is something you can bounce to ... Again congratulations to our artistes. History has been made!
