What We Need | Don Kelon | Trinidad & Tobago 2019

Can we find hope in music? Of course, we can, but can we enable change in the hearts and minds of a nation to carve out a new path of hope and love so that 'Together We Aspire, Together We Achieve" will empower us to create a nation of love, drive and purpose? That is the challenge, as a nation, Trinidad & Tobago faces today.

Don Kellon and the production of this track entitled "What We Need" found a purpose and cause to pen meaningful lyrical content... the journey begins: what part will you play?
The lyrical content is meaningful and conjures hope for a nation that has recently lost three legendary heroes of our culture. We can and will find creative ways to come out of the moral decline facing the nation.

Then again the music brings together musical styles that we are familiar with yet bringing a vibe we like to call KaiSoca (Calypso & Soca fusion). Share this post with your peers, share the YouTube link to the song with all your Social Media contacts... make the song go viral!

Music Release Notes:
"Out of a divine creative inspirational moment, this nation building Soca/Calypso/crossover song emerged. The convergence of three creative musical minds, in one space, provided fertile musical ground for this magical piece to blossom. Songwriter Ronald Forde, Producer/Writer Julian “Jueilo” Nelson and young Soca sensation Don Kelon, brother of deceased Soca star Blazer Dan, collaborated to offer the nation hope through the song “What We Need”.

The quagmire in which we now find ourselves as a nation requires local musical interventions to speak to the healing of the land. Musical works that critique the situation and offer solutions to the madness, must emerge to restore sanity to 'the space' we once called paradise.

The youthful melodic structure of the music, coupled with the sobering lyrics and the soothing delivery style of Don Kelon, compels my people to internalize on the way forward for Trinidad and Tobago. You are invited to listen, enjoy and be a part of sharing love throughout the nation".
