Our Calypso culture has taken a beating recently with a lack of support for our beloved Calypso music. However, it is the lost of life and a failure to celebrate these giants of our art-form (when they are alive) that is so hurtful. Today, we are reeling from the lost of many of some of our beloved legends. One would expect that many of the current artistes would eventually pay their respect to our fallen heroes in song as we start the healing process. 

Today we present a song that pays respect to one of our greatest Calypso heroes. This song, entitled "Memories" pays respect to 'The Mighty Shadow"... all we are left with are sweet memories and a music legacy that will last for generations to come.

This song is a production of 'The Project' vocalized by 'Preacher'. Everyone who loved the music of 'The  Mighty Shadow' knows the impact that he had on our culture. He was and remains, one of the unique artistes of our lifetime. He was  a proud man who had his own musical style and though he did not lay claim to the genre, impacted the development of Soca with his musical style. We are thankful for this tribute song. Kudos to the team of  "Preacher" and "The Project" for this wonderful song of remembrance.
