It is almost the weekend and that means we are featuring new music. Today we have five new songs released for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2019. All of the songs come from the Novation Riddim comprising of five releases to date. The singers are Patrice Roberts, Dev, Kimba Sorzano, Menace aka M1 and T-Rock ft. Hardware and Simon Pipe.
We listened to the songs but they did not 'raise our temperature or make us feel the carnival bug'. Patrice has two new songs released recently but we feel she needs better lyrical content... she is laboring on that front. Her latest release is only 2:30 minutes long; she is reaching; however, Patrice's fans love her all the same!
The rest of the songs on the riddim all have the same theme, wining, 'wukking' and bumpers. Now don't get me wrong, you will be able to party and have fun with these music releases but don't look for these songs to exist outside of the carnival season. As far as we are concerned, they failed lyrically for these songs!

We may not be enamored with these songs (lyrically). However, will continue to support the artistes and production team.
