Remember The Days | Jimmy October | Trinidad & Tobago 2018

Today we have a new music release entitled "Remember The Days" by Jimmy October. The song that immediately came to mind, when I saw the title of the song,  was 'Ole Time Days by Nappy Myers. However, this song is different and it appears that this one is more about the love for a person and not love of culture and country as is the case for Nappy's song.

So what is really taking place here with Jimmy? Is this a case of a relationship gone bad or just Jimmy in emotional turmoil and feeling the need to express his feelings? He appears to be distracted and has a lot on his mind in the opening scene of the video. Then he locates a photo that appeared to trigger a memory and calm his spirit as he reminisced about that special person who once captivated his soul. The story unfolds and we could surmise that she could be a 'back in the day love' that he feels unfulfilled about; maybe she is the one that got away?

The story goes back to a better time when the joy of life, love and fulfilling the inner space that turns our lives upside down. Falling in love and having your life turned upside down can be an amazing experience... then again, confusion can set in and lead to despair. What do you think is going on in this story? Does this story live in the mind on Jimmy, a case of unrequited love or does reality fulfill the promise...

The music production has a vintage and modern feel to it. In other words, the story (looking back) is also matched by the feel of the music. A feel-good music production that takes one to a time past yet has a modern vibe to it. We like the work done by Tano and Precision Productions. Well done guys!
