The major competitions are over and few now hold bragging rights until the summer of 2019 when Vincy Mas comes back to do it all over again. The rest is for those who love to dance and prance on the road... but today we have the results that most carnival fans want to know, Soca Monarch Results!
This major show took place at Victoria Park in Kingstown, Saint Vincent; the show lived up to expectations! We take this opportunity to extend our congratulations to all those who participated in the competitions and especially to those who prevailed and were crowned champions in their respective categories.
New York based Saint Vincent Soca artiste, Fimber "Fimba" Jardine won the Groovy Soca Monarch competition with his very popular song entitled "Funky Business". On the Power Soca Monarch side of the equation, Delroy "Fireman" Hooper won the competition with a song entitled "Amen".
