Good things come to those who wait and today the fruit of all that waiting is here for your listening pleasure. This is a different musical style. Something familiar but at the same time will sound so different. This is new music for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2017; the song is entitled "Verses" by Chromatics and Bunji Garlin.
The lyricists are 'nasty good' on this track! Fans of Chromatic are singing praises for this production done by Jus Now (LAZAbeam and Interface). The song was recorded at Chromatics Music Studio and Sound Lock Studios (Viking Family) in sweet Trinidad and Tobago.
This song takes off after the lyricists drop their wicked verses. The Steelpan that started the track was welcomed and the Rapso style solidifies Trinidad and Tobago's indigenous Rap style for the World to absorb. We love the track and don't be surprised if this one leads the way in the Power Soca rankings.

Music Release Notes:
Master lyricists Chromatics and Bunji Garlin have gone head to head on a new Carnival track, 'Verses', a powerhouse single that shows off the artists' lyrical prowess.
He debuted the collab with the Viking on his fan page via Facebook Live. Produced by Jus Now and LAZAbeam, Verses is a song two years in the making, according to the hip-hop artist, mainly due to conflicting schedules.
"This is my first...official foray into the carnival season. Everybody keeps asking, 'Why you don't sing soca?' You could say this is Soca but I was waiting for the right production to come and hit me so I could sit nice on a Riddim and make a make a contribution to the carnival that was different. I don't want to sound like everyone else out there."
Verses, a powerful fusion power Soca, hip hop, tassa, steel pan and percussion, was an immediate hit with his audience, amassing over 200 shares and over 4,000 hits shortly after going live. Chromatics ended his video announcing that fans could look forward to another soca dropping sometime soon.
