Hold Something | Fay-Ann Lyons | Trinidad & Tobago 2017

This is new music for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2017. The song is entitled "Hold Something" as in "Hold on to Something" sung by Fay- Ann Lyons.
I had to listen to the song two times before doing this post. I was not sure if I liked it or did something about it intrigue me. First of all this one has some speed and should find a place in the Power Soca market for TnT's carnival. Secondly, Fay-Ann sounded like she was at the top of her range with this song.. it did not sound like she was in her comfort zone.

Finally, when you listen to the song, out of the blue you hear a voice saying "Run". At first I was like, 'what d'hell was dat'? Then it put a smile on my face. Some how that worked!

Having said the above, I will give this one a shove to get in the race... after all, this is Miss Fay-Ann Lyons!  Fay-Ann, Stadic and Wetty Beatz... I won't bet against that group. So we will expect this one to take off on radio... good luck!
