At the start of the song, I got 'Trini2DBone' vibes by David Rudder and Carl Jacobs as the guitar introduced the song. Then the first vocal brought me down to earth. It isn't that the song is a let down. No, it is just that I got thrown a curve ball that straightened soon after lift off. Regardless, the vibe is on the groove side of what goes by the name Soca today.
