Life is good to me and to everyone who loves Soca Music, but most of all to our most respected producers, Precision Production out of San Fernando, Trinidad. Precision Production has given the song, "Cheers to Life" a new lease on life. This song doesn't need any help to be successful. After all, it is well known that version 1.0 obliterated the competition for Trinidad and Tobago's Soca Monarch competition earlier this year. However a remix can help propel the song further and there is nothing wrong with that. Now we have "Cheers To Life 2.0" but this version is still all about the original singer, Voice... and we have no problem with that fact!
R.City's input is interesting but it did not really blow me away. Having said that, please note that this remains an awesome song so we can't fault this re-release. Release 2.0 is a good upgrade but the original remains etched in our Soca Sweetness vault. Do you have an opinion about release 2.0?
