ANNUAL MUSIC AWARDS
COTT’s Annual Music Awards is primarily designed to pay tribute to member songwriters, composers and music publishers, reinstating credibility to creators, whose efforts are often overshadowed by the spotlight accorded performing artistes who popularize their works.

Although the performer and songwriter are sometimes a single identity, completely different skills and talents are involved.  At the basis of COTT's corporate philosophy is the view that without the creation of music there would be no need for an entertainer.

With membership now well past the 1,400, COTT administers most of this country’s music.
