I Believe | Chucky Gordon | Trinidad & Tobago 2015

This is new music from Trinidad and Tobago's reigning Calypso Monarch Chucky Gordon. The song is entitled "I Believe" and he truly has me believing that he will repeat as Calypso Monarch with this very excellent offering!

Hell yes this song has what it takes to win it all again. The lyrical content is excellent (top of the class)m and the vocal performance is superb. I am drinking the Chucky for Calypso Monarch 2015 kool-aide already. Hell yes, with an excellent Calypso like "I Believe" I don't have a choice but to acknowledge the making of the next great one in Chucky Gordon. He is consistently bring songs with excellent lyrical content and the man can flat out sing.

Talking about singing one has to note that Chucky has a damn wicked style that flows so easily with the music. His singing is effortless and he sound really good. He has it all and the song writers, Fazad Shageer, Ray Holman & Roderick Gordon, handed him a gem of a song.

Kudos to the songwriters, musicians and most of all to Chucky Gordon on delivering an excellent recording. Let's see how this plays out on the 'Big Stage' - the Queen's Park Savannah! I think that Chucky is on his way to repeat. He can sing and he is arming himself with music/songs that will make people and hopefully the judges take notice. Well done!
