This is new music for Saint Vincent Carnival 2014. The song comes from the very talented Saint Vincent born but Tobago resident Fya Empress. This one is entitle "Drink Ah Juice" and was produced by Mysta Lyon and written by the husband and wife team of David and Lornette Nedd Reid.
"Drink Ah Juice" is a song that seems to be 'out of place' in a time warp according to those who chose to comment on the song. The song is well produced but is not creating a buzz or causing anyone to rave about the song. As a matter of fact people appear to react with indifference when they listen to the song. The song is well produced and Fya Empress delivers on the vocals but the song itself has nothing to offer (catch phrase/vibe) and does not entice one to dance and 'get on bad'. Maybe this may be the case becasue it is early or it could be that this is one that may simply not appeal to many. This is strange/unusual for this talented artist. I guess we have to wait to see how others react to the track. What are your views?
