What Yuh Drinkin? | Tamisha | Saint Vincent 2014

I was online thinking about the upcoming Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Carnival (SVG) and wondered about the new music. The songs are coming like thick molasses - very slowly. Today, on islandmix.com I came across a new song from Tamisha entitled "What Yuh Drinkin'?" - this song presents the song for the Zagada followers.

Earlier this year Olatunji had a song entitled "Wha Yuh Drinkin'?" so don't let the name of Tamisha's  new song mislead you into thinking that it is the song released earlier by Olatunji. I will post both songs for comparison later on.

This one by Tamisha has a very laid back fell to it and is the first release that I have heard for this young upcoming star out of Saint Vincent. I am not in awe of rum songs and think that better songs can be written and sung for carnival. Having said that I have to say that Tamisha executed the vocals well on this song. Not everyone will find favor with the song and that may be because of the lyrics, the general singing style or simply because... I am sure that this is the first of a few releases for Vincy Carnival by Tamisha. We wish her well for the upcoming Carnival festivities!
