Party Behind Meh | C.C. | Trinidad & Tobago 2014

When I listen to this song I get the feeling that this group was in the studio and they were playing around with a riddim and decided to put some lyrics to it and voila "Party Behind Meh" was born. When you listen to the song all you need to remember is the following: "Ah want ah man behind meh, ah want ah man behind meh, ah want ah man behind meh, climb on it, climb on it, party behind meh, party behind meh!" Basically that is it... however, and yes there is a 'however' for this song - the music/rhythm (from the bass/drumset) is very engaging!

Regardless of how you feel about the artist C.C. and her vocals on the song you have to admit that the music is very "catchy" as stated by Socapro on islanmix.com.  That, in essence, is very true. I did not know what I initially wanted to say about the song but as I started to write this post (while listening to the song/that is my recipe for all my posts) I realized that I was grooving to the music!

To close, I will stick to my opening statement but have to admit that the music and even the hook of "Party Behing Meh" got to me... there is something about "Super Blue" and the way he does his thing. He knows how to hook you and I guess that is the case with this song... what is your take on the song/music?"
