Here is another offering for Panorama 2014; this one is done by Shirlane Hendrickson and is entitled "Excitement". Shirlane is the daughter of the very popular and loved Calypsonian whose sobriquet is "Allrounder". She is no stranger to the business of Calypso having won the National Calypso Queen of Trinidad and Tobago (NWAC) title from 1998 - 2001 (four consecutive years)!
For Carnival 2014 she has teamed up with the very popular Clive Telemaque who co-composed the song with Shirlane. This combination of talents has given us a good song for this upcoming Panorama competition. I must say that the the song/vocal performance lacked the "Excitement" of the bold title. However, as a musical number, it should sound really sweet on pan. This is a good song and I look forward to hearing it played for the Panorama competition.
