The song is entitled "Wining Good" and it is the latest release from the singer known as Olatunji - this is the vibe I have been waiting on - a sweet Soca groove! There was so much anticipation today for the release of "Truck On D Road" from Bunji Garlin but this song here is the song that you should be paying attention to my friends. This is my track - Olatunji yuh wicked my friend! This vibe is wicked sweet; I can't find fault with anything where this track is concerned. This one goes to the head of the list as far as I am concerned - boss track!
I noticed that this song has been labeled Chutney Soca but I have to disagree. This song may have Indian instrumentation but it is not Chutney Soca. The support rhythm may come from the tabla but this is a sweet Groovy Soca track as far as I am concerned (listen to the bass guitar played on the track).
Olatunji and Juelio I can't say enough about how good this production is - well done, well done! This musical production is so good that is stands out amongst the rest of the music released to date. The tempo of the music, the lyrics and the instrumentation is so different from the rest of music released to thus far. It goes to show that with some thought the merging of the major musical cultures in Trinidad and Tobago can foster music the is unique and full of groovy vibes. This is my song, this is my vibe. I love this track! Turn up your volume and enjoy the vibe of Olatunji and Juelio people!
