Press Release:
Ganesh Boodoo was born in Toronto Canada to Trinidadian parents. He loves to sing Chutney Soca and is known as "Dollyboy" and "D'limer Boy" by his friends. He is Canadian by birth but he lived most of his life in Trinidad where he listened to and fell in love with Chutney Soca. It is easy to understand why he chose to become involved in the business. His family members are well connected in the Chutney music industry thus making it less intimidating to launch a solo career.

Some of his 'connected family members' include Rasika Dindial, Jairam Dindial, Hemalatha Dindial, Ramraji Prabhu (aunt), Neeshan D'Hitman Prabhu, and Navin D'Prince Prabhu. One can easily see that he was immersed in the culture and the end result was a desire to become a part of this musical experience; as a result of all of the influences an artist named "Dollyboy" emerged to take his place with the rest of this musically gifted family.

D'Limer Boy's first 'tour of duty' began in Toronto in 2010 when he joined the very popular band "Exodus". The leader of the group was Shiva Nandlal. It was here that he started singing but not as a lead singer. He learned to 'earn his keep' and learn the craft by singing back up in this very popular band.

Dollyboy's (D'Limer Boy) first foray as a lead vocalist emerged when he jumped on the scene releasing his first hit song entitled "Limer". He lived up to his name and in that song the chorus echoed the following: 'I want to be a Limer forever'.

He followed up with songs such as "Meh Neyba", "Same Girl" featuring KI Persad, "Brown Black and White" and "Best Friend". It should be noted that he did not stand still but also collaborated with popular artists such as Ravi B and Rikki Jai on a song entitled "De Limer De Drinka and De Barman". His last colaboration was done with Hunter in a song that was titled "Need Somebody".

Dollyboy is not only a singer but he is also in demand as a songwriter. He continues to write songs and has written for artists like Ranjheev "D'Heartbreaker" Ramdeen. The names of the songs written for "D'Heartbreaker" are "Pass Meh Glass and "Heartbreakah"

If, after listening to his latest release, you wish to hear these songs please note that they are all available on Google's YouTube Video Portal.
